After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, Mr. Campbell enrolled in Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and received a Masters Degree with a double major in Psychology and Theology.  He took advanced training at the University of Southern California (Dr. Leonard Silvern) in training design, at Boston University (Dr. Bob Chin) in life skill training, and at Vanderbilt University in Advanced Statistical Analysis.  While in college, he worked as an intern in television production at WLBT in Jackson, Mississippi.

 

Mr. Campbell worked for 19 years in the Television, Radio and Film Commission of the United Methodist Church culminating in management of the Motion Picture and Television Production Division.  Leaving there, he and a colleague started a company for production of training films and motion picture trailers (Cascom, Inc.) which he sold to his colleague after two years.  He left to form a new company (James C. Campbell and Associates, Inc.) for consulting and training company top managers.  Some of the over 100 companies he worked with in the following 29 years are: Rogers Construction Company, Comfort, Inc. and Miller Medical group of Nashville, Tennessee; SMW of Smithville, Tennessee, Shaw Industries of Georgia; Winn-Dixie and Florida Power and Light Company of Florida.  He has written and published 35 multi-media training tools in management skills training.

 

He is co-founder of Life with Hope, LLC, with his wife, Robin C. Campbell, Ed.D. LMFT.  He serves as Manager of the company.
