Matt is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (IMT-683). He specializes in the areas of marriage and couples counseling, child and adolescent therapy, and parent education. He has nearly ten years experience as Elementary School Guidance Counselor in Pasco County, and was chosen as Counselor of the Year in 2004.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology and a Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida.
He is a Board Member of the Florida Adlerian Society, and has served as Chair of Exceptional Student Education and Pupil Assistance Team at Chasco Elementary School.
He is currently employed as Director of the Bishop-Eton School in Tampa which works exclusively with children with special needs.
In counseling, his low key, laid-back approach has proven to be very effective with children and adolescents who are normally reluctant to engage in the counseling process.
Matt also conducts workshops in parenting skills, behavior management in school, and renewing the happiness in marriage. His workshops are both educational and fun.
