Addiction Therapy

Addiction is an outcome of over-relying on and abusing something (alcohol, drugs, food, sex, gambling, etc.) outside ourselves to help us deal with the distresses of daily living.  Addiction is a highly ineffective coping mechanism; and, is a debilitating, downward spiraling disorder that ruins our physical, mental and spiritual health as well as destroying our relationships.

At Life with Hope, we believe that the underlying psychological reasons for addiction (poor self esteem, lack of trust, disconnection) and the physical “disease” symptoms of addiction must be addressed simultaneously.  We do this utilizing support, skills training, education and accountability based on 12-Step philosophies and neurofeedback assessment and training.
